The Department of Music seeks a dynamic, creative Director of Voice Studies to provide artistic leadership and deliver curricular instruction. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking artist and pedagogue who is experienced in fostering a diverse, equitable and inclusive learning environment. They will have a vision of the voice area in its various facets: performance, pedagogy, leadership and organization of applied voice faculty, curriculum design, recruiting and community engagement. Master’s Degree in Music
Evidence of successful university teaching in voice, pedagogy, literature and diction
Demonstrated evidence of successful leadership and administrative experience
Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to cultivate learning environments that are equitable and inclusive of students with diverse social identities and backgrounds.
