Audition 3/15-22

Requirements:

Completed vocal studies, experience in ensemble singing, impeccable sight-reading, and a perfect command of the German language.

Compulsory pieces to be prepared:

• W.A.Mozart: Aria of Cherubino from Figaro "Voi che sapete".

• J.S.Bach: St. John Passion" Es ist vollbracht".

• J.S.Bach: St. Matthew Passion " Erbarme dich".

• J.Brahms: Song: “Unbewegte laue Luft".

• R.Schumann: " Mondnacht" in D flat major

Choral literature:

• J.S.Bach: B minor mass "Cum Sancto Spiritu" 2nd soprano bar 54-64

• J.Brahms: op. 74 Motet " Warum ist das Licht gegeben dem Mühseligen" Nr.1

In addition, unknown passages of the choral literature are presented for sight-singing.

All arias and songs are to be performed in original language.
