Woodlawn Theatre

Woodlawn Theatre will be holding auditions for Hairspray, December 6th and 7th at 7pm.

Dance auditions will start at 7pm sharp each night; please wear clothing and shoes that are appropriate for movement. Performers need to prepare one song in the style of the show, 32 bars or a verse and chorus. Please bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided. No tracked music or a cappella singing will be allowed. Please bring a headshot and resume if you have one. Individuals of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds are encouraged to audition. Auditions are only for performers 16 and up, performers 18 and up will receive a small stipend for being in the show.

For the role of Little Inez we are looking for a black female age 10-15. If you are auditioning for this role please email an audition video to Chris@woodlawntheatre.org by 12/5. The video must include you singing a song in the style of the show, you must have music tracked or played live for you, no a cappella singing.

Performers ages 16 - 17 years old who are interested in auditioning must be a parent/guardian to the audition to sign a waiver form.
