Rehearsals & Performances

Rehearsals will fall between Aug 9 and Oct 2

The final schedule will be built around the conflicts of the directors and cast. Your participation will depend on your availability as well as your talent and personality. We know you're busy. We'll have an organized schedule and try not to waste your time.

The framework is Monday - Friday, 6:30-10:00pm; Sat/Sun, 10am - 10pm

Performances are evenings on Oct 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, and 19

Rehearsals & Performances take place at No Square Theatre, 384 Legion St, in Laguna Beach

What to do for the audition

Prepare approximately 32 bars of a song you love to sing that shows you off! This is a parody show written to many styles of music: Broadway, Country Western, Disco, Surf Music, etc.

Bring sheet music in the correct key. Music should be two-sided (taped together OK) or in a 3-ring binder.

An accompanist will be provided. If you don't have sheet music, you may use a karaoke track, on your device, paired to our Bluetooth speaker. You may not 'sing along' with a recording or sing a cappella.

You will be taught a dance combination to perform in a group.

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Taps if you've got 'em. Allow at least 1 hour for your audition.

Provide photo and resume if possible. Photos may also be taken at audition at the theatre.

Be prepared to list all conflicts occurring during the rehearsal and performance period on the provided Conflict Calendar.

You will be notified by email if you are cast in the show.

All communications regarding the show will be via email with emergency changes addressed via text. Please be certain that we have your correct and legible cell phone and email address.

Tickets are limited and on sale now at nosquare.org. There are no comps, but cast members will receive a $100 stipend.

NOTE: While LAGUNATICS is a pretty tame show, rehearsals can be far more colorful. We will work hard and laugh harder, so bring your sense of humor to join the fun!
