The 2022 Institute will have two sessions. The first session will run from June 1st to June 26th, and the second session from July 18th to August 14th. Additionally, a minimum of 4 singers will be selected as resident artists for the entirety of the summer festival from June 1st to August 14th.

Program Overview:
The program also includes arias concerts and recitals, coaching, numerous Master Classes, and chorus rehearsal.
Our company remains flexible regarding our plans so as to ensure the safety of our participants, instructors and artists during the COVID-19 situation.
Institute Eligibility:
The Opera Artist Institute is open to selected singers dedicated to performing at their highest level and one or more rising directors, conductors, and pianist-coaches. With the characteristics of most “Young Artist” programs, the Institute provides aspiring professionals with performance experience and professional training but is open to excellent musicians of any age.
INSTITUTE DETAILS:
Participants are immersed in rehearsals for the shows, vocal coaching and Master Classes during their residency in Steamboat Springs.
The 2022 schedule includes:
Coaching and rehearsals
Master Classes exploring vocal technique, career & audition training, singer fitness, and dramatic work.
2022 Institute fee: $3,295
Includes tuition and housing (no meals included)
$800 Deposit required with signature of contract (non-refundable)
If you would like to be considered for a scholarship, please submit a description of how this program will help you grow as a young artist (250 words minimum)

Masterclasses
A public Arias & Ensembles Concert (repertoire assigned and prepared in advance)
Appearances at local events to be assigned on merit and preparedness during the Institute
