Candlelight Dinner Playhouse

Candlelight Dinner Playhouse will be having auditions for Singin’ in the Rain and Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella on Monday, January 17th 2022. Actors of all ethnicities and gender identities are encouraged to audition. Singin’ in the Rain will be Directed and Choreographed by Kate Vallee. Cinderella will be Directed by Phil Forman.

Actors are asked to prepare a 1-minute song from the classical musical theatre canon and a 30 second – 1-minute monologue. There will also be a short dance combination taught at the audition (jazz or ballet shoes for the audition combo. Principles will be asked to do the movement section of the combo).

Please bring a headshot and resume along with sheet music in the appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided, no a capella or recorded music.
