Esterhazy Singers

Scholarship: £1150 per annum, paid in 3 equal parts after each term

Audition: Shortlisted applicants will be asked to join a rehearsal when there will be an audition with David Halstead and a short meeting with two members of the choir’s committee

Responsibilities:

- attend regular rehearsals, usually on Tuesdays at 19:00 at St Margaret Pattens, Eastcheap

- sing at all performances including solo opportunities (4 or 5 public performances a year)

Requirements:

- between 18 and 25 years old

- ideally should be considering a career in solo and ensemble singing or just starting in that field

Applicants may also with to consider jointly applying for the St John at Hackney choral scholarship (see http://saint.church/hackneychoir) for a combined £2500 scholarship.

Previous scholars have happily combined both positions. If interested in both scholarship opportunities, please state in your email – the audition process can be combined for interested candidates
