Del Mar College

The Department of Music at Del Mar College seeks an Instructor or Assistant Professor of Music (full-time, tenure track). This individual will also serve as the Director of Choral Activities, direct the various choral ensembles, play an active role in recruiting, and oversee all aspects of the choral program.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

* Demonstrate vast knowledge of choral repertoire.

* Demonstrate thorough knowledge in choral techniques.

* Demonstrate effective choral rehearsal management skills.

* Ability to plan and publicize performances.

* Ability to form relationships with those in the music community.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline.
