The Annapolis Opera is accepting audition applications for principal roles for upcoming seasons, to include full productions and concerts. Possible repertoire could include: La traviata (Verdi), Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Lost in the Stars (Weill), Trial by Jury (Sullivan).
Online applications will only be accepted from Wednesday, December 1, 2021 through Monday, January 3, 2021 (11:59 PM EST).
AUDITION SCHEDULE & LOCATIONS
Maryland Hall: 801 Chase Street, Annapolis, MD
Friday, January 28, 2022 from 10 AM – 6 PM
Academy of Vocal Arts: 1920 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA
Friday, February 4, 2022 from 9:30 AM – 5 PM
Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 1:30 PM- 5 PM

Audition location, date, and time preferences; please note all that you would be available for. Though every effort will be made to honor your preference, it is not guaranteed.

Audition appointments are limited and will be allocated based on the Annapolis Opera Artistic Director’s review of all applications. All applicants will be notified via email about their audition status no later than January 10, 2022.
FEES
There is no application fee. For singers selected to audition, there is a non-refundable $20 pianist fee to be paid upon appointment acceptance.
