Troupers Light Opera Company

Pirates who plunder, police who blunder, maidens who wonder, and major-generals who thunder! Troupers Light Opera will be presenting that perennial Gilbert and Sullivan favorite, The Pirates of Penzance in April of 2022, and we are looking for singers!

Auditions will be held November 8th and 10th from 7:00 to 10:00 pm at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 200 Riverside Avenue in Riverside, CT.

All roles, soloists and chorus, are open. Candidates for principal parts should prepare two songs in English in a style similar to Sullivan’s operettas. If you are auditioning for the chorus you only need to prepare a single song. An accompanist will be provided.
