announce AUDITIONS: 33rd Concert Season, 2021-22.

The South Bend Chamber Singers, Michiana’s premier vocal chamber ensemble,

announce auditions for experienced singers. Vaccinations required.

Concerts for the coming year include our always popular Christmas at Loretto on December 19, showcasing new music for the season and featuring the world premiere of a new work by American composer Dominick DiOrio. On March 13, we will join with South Bend Lyric Opera and the South Bend Symphony Orchestra to present a concert performance of Verdi’s La Traviata. Our season closes on May 15 with Day Is Done: Choral Reflections on War with guitarist Daniel Quinn. Rehearsals begin Sunday, September 12.

Masks will be required and provided.

Auditions will be held August 30-September 5 in Room 309 Moreau Center for the Arts on the Saint Mary’s College campus. Singers should bring a prepared solo, and sight-reading and aural abilities will be tested. An accompanist is provided.
