Church of the Atonement

Church of the Atonement in Tenafly, NJ is still seeking part-time tenor and bass/baritone soloists to assume a leadership role in a volunteer but active choir of approximately 12 members with 4 paid soloists. The position is to begin in September. The successful candidate will be required to participate one day a week at the Sunday 10 a.m. service with a 9 a.m. warm-up rehearsal from September until mid-June, as well as extra services on Christmas Eve, Advent Candlelight and Carols, Lenten Meditations and Easter Saturday Vigil. He will also have the opportunity to sing solos and in ensembles during services and occasional choral concerts throughout the year. Pay is $100 per call.

Church of the Atonement is a small but vibrant and active Episcopal congregation in suburban New Jersey with a highly developed and serious music program. Music encompasses all periods and styles, from plainchant through contemporary, from anthems to oratorios.
