St. Charles Community College

SCC invites qualified candidates to apply for our part-time faculty position to teach private music lessons, as needed, with the possibility of teaching music courses to music majors and non-music majors depending on experience the fall 2021 semester. The faculty member may perform or prepare students to perform for additional departmental needs as they arise. Part-time appointments made on a semester-by-semester (as needed) basis. Vacancy is open for Private Voice Instruction, 30- or 60-minute lessons that may vary. Online teaching may be required. Accompanist will be provided. Hours may vary according to the current need of requested lessons.

Qualifications: The candidate must demonstrate teaching and performance skills in vocal music. Vocal solo and ensemble experience is required. Classical training with experience in additional genres preferred. Master's degree in the field of music is required.
