Summer at Cornish

July 25th - 29th, 2022

Voice at Cornish is designed specifically for young singers interested in learning about jazz, pop, R&B, and other contemporary vocal styles. The intensive provides students with an opportunity to develop as artists through daily collaboration with professional musicians in the industry and the nationally renowned vocal faculty at Cornish College of the Arts. The week encompasses the full spectrum of the singer’s art: vocal technique, interpretation, improvisation, performance techniques, ensemble rehearsal with a band, and special topics. Singers will leave the week with a clearer understanding of what is required to be a vocalist in today’s world.

Who Should Enroll: The workshop has been designed for talented high school and college singers, ages 14+.

COVID-19 Policy – At this time Cornish College of the Arts Vaccination Policy states that all students must: (a) establish that they have received the COVID-19 vaccine; (b) obtain an approved exemption. Students will be asked to show proof of vaccination before entering any Cornish buildings.

Cornish College reserves the right to change any final scholarship award based on the number of qualified applicants and available funding.
