Grand Theatre

Grand Theatre will be holding auditions for Elf, the Musical, August 15, 2021 at 7:30 pm and August 17, 2021 at 6:30 pm.

Vocal Audition:

Please prepare 32 bars (roughly 30-60 seconds) of a song, in the style of the show and that also shows off your vocal range. You are allowed to sing from the show if you would like to, but it is not a requirement. Piano accompaniment will be provided. If you are using a track, please be sure that it is a Karaoke or instrumental track (No background vocals). We will provide a speaker to plug your phone or iPod into. If your phone requires special input outside of an aux port or iPhone jack, please bring a the aux adaptor to plug it in.

Dance Call:

After you complete the audition form, you will get a message that your form was completed along with a link to the dance call audition video. Please prepare the dance PRIOR to auditions. We will not be reteaching the dance from scratch, but we will answer any quick questions and go through it a few times before you are asked to perform it on stage. You will not have to perform it alone. In the dance audition, there will be 2 combinations. One will be a tap combo. If you do not have any tap experience, don't worry. Try your best with or without tap shoes.
