Arizona Opera Audition
Description
Arizona Opera announces 2022/23 chorus auditions.
Auditions will take place:
The Arizona Opera Center, 1636 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85004
Saturday, March 5, 11 AM - 2 PM MST
Saturday, April 9, 11 AM - 2 PM MST
Dove of Peace Church, 665 W Roller Coaster Rd, Tucson, AZ 85704
Saturday, March 12, 11 AM - 1 PM MST
Saturday, April 16, 11 AM - 2 PM MST
Each auditioner is to prepare the following selections:
Women: 1 aria in Italian, 1 aria or art song in German, 1 musical theater selection in English
Men: 1 aria in Italian, 1 aria or art song in German
Each auditioner will be scheduled for an 8-minute slot (please edit your selections to fit within the 8 minutes). A pianist will be provided, or you may bring one with you.
