Description
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, tenured, faculty position as Assistant Director of the Dr. Bobbie Bailey School of Music and Associate Professor or Professor of Music beginning August 1, 2022.
Responsibilities
Administrative expectations
Advance the School’s student success capacity, academic programs, operations, and presenting season.
Teaching expectations: 2/2 (40% of the workload).
Administration/Service: 50% of the workload
Scholarship/Research expectations: 10% of the workload, in the area of expertise
Collaborate with College and University constituencies
Other duties as assigned by the Director
Required Qualifications Include:
An earned terminal degree, or the foreign equivalent, in music or a closely related field
An academic background and appropriate credentials to be a tenured professor in the Dr. Bobbie Bailey School of Music at KSU
