East Texas Baptist University seeks a qualified individual to provide instruction in and coordination of the vocal studies program in the Department of Music and Theatre Arts. The position begins in August 2022 and assignments will include applied voice, musical theatre direction, vocal diction, vocal pedagogy, and related courses. The position will also include participation in departmental meetings and review, contribution to curriculum development, and student advising duties. Additional teaching assignments within the music discipline will be given per the successful candidate’s interest and expertise.

The Vocal Coordinator will assume responsibility for the assigning of voice studios to full-time and part-time voice faculty, ensuring consistent standards across all studios, recruiting, public relations, and provision of academic advising for music students.

ETBU seeks a qualified individual with a graduate degree in Music. Candidates should have professional experience and a record of professional involvement. Candidates must have a strong commitment to academic scholarship and teaching, as well as the ability to communicate well with students and colleagues.
