Description
The School of Music in the College of Music and Performing Arts at Belmont University is seeking applications for an Associate Director for the School of Music, beginning August 1, 2026.
The Associate Director for School of Music would be part of a collaborative administrative team for managing, planning, and leading undergraduate and graduate faculty/programs within the Belmont University School of Music. Along with the Director and Assistant Directors the Associate Director will work together to:
* Manage the School's academic, fiscal, and personnel operations and support the alignment of the School of Music with the goals and aspirations of the College and the University.
* Develop and manage productive interactions among the programs and faculty within the School of Music creating strong interdisciplinary relationships in the School of Music, other units in the college and across campus.
* Maintain an active role in the academic life of the school with both teaching and research expectations.
* Demonstrate an understanding and passion for the mission of the university and vision for the School of Music within the College of Music and Performing Arts.
