MIOpera

MIOpera (MIO) began in 2011 to provide professional performing opportunities for emerging opera artists, pianists and conductors where they could perform in a full opera production and gain resume building experiences, and to bring to Bloomington-Normal a genre of music that is infrequently accessible in our area. Since our development we have given over 350 artists amazing operatic opportunities and we have provided the community with 15 opera productions.
