Green Room Community Theatre

Green Room Community Theatre will be holding auditions for Songs For a New World, Monday, March 24 at 7pm & Tuesday, March 25 at 7pm. Possible callbacks will be March 26 at 7pm.

Please prepare 16-32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre song of your choosing (preferably not from the show). Please also be prepared to share a short story about a moment in your life that makes you smile (don’t over think this- we just want to get to know you)! If auditioning for the dance ensemble the audition will also include a dance call (If you are only auditioning for named roles, you are not required to attend the dance call although it is recommended)! Be sure to dress in comfortable & appropriate clothing and shoes. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided. Auditions may also consist of vocal exercises in the event that the team needs to see the actors vocal range.
