Arvada Center

The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities will hold video auditions only for Elf – The Musical from July 26 to August 9, 2021. The Arvada Center production will be directed by Gavin Mayer, music directed by Christopher Babbage and choreographed by Kitty Skillman Hilsabeck. The Arvada Center Producing Director of Musical Theatre is Rod A. Lansberry.

Wojcik/ Seay Casting will also coordinate video auditions for actors with agents in the coming weeks.

Video submissions will be reviewed, and you will be notified if there is further interest. At that time, you will be given further instructions. Do not call the Arvada Center to follow up, or Wojcik/Seay Casting. All correspondence will be done electronically. General Requirements

Seeking experienced performers with strong acting and singing abilities. Strong dancing abilities are required. BIPOC performers strongly encouraged to audition. Actors should submit 16 to 32 bars of the song using the provided accompaniment link found on the Arvada Center website or 16 to 32 bars of a song of your choice in the style of the show by video link (such as YouTube or Vimeo) and a current headshot and résumé are required. See the character breakdown (below) for specifics on available roles. This is an Equity LORT B production, but non-equity actors will be considered.

Rehearsal and Performance Dates

Rehearsals for Elf – The Musical begin on Thursday, October 28, 2021. The production opens Friday, November 19, 2021 and runs through December 23, 2021. Rehearsals are Tuesday through Sunday 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Performances are Tuesday through Saturday evenings with matinees on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays for a total of eight shows per week.
