Minimum Requirements

* Master's Degree in Music or a Master's Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Music

* All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution

* Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching or performance

* Demonstrated effectiveness in voice and opera, with a distinguished record of performance and teaching excellence

* Teaching experience in a college or university program or professional equivalent

* Familiarity with and use of collaborative learning techniques and student-centered methods of instruction

* Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate juries, advisement, recruitment, performances and other departmental and school activities

* Demonstrate ability to interact effectively in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff

* Qualified applicant must demonstrate positive human relations and communications skills

* Applicant must be versed with computer skills

* Doctorate stipend is awarded in addition to higher base salary, if degree awarded prior to start date

Start date for this Faculty position is anticipated to begin on or before the start of the 2025 Fall Semester
