Boise State University seeks Assistant Professor of Choral Music Education/Assistant Director of Choral Activities.

Job Summary/Purpose:

Supports the University’s mission of providing student-centered, quality education and is committed to the success of our students and the university. This involves teaching effectiveness, professional development, research and scholarly/creative activities, institutional service, professional and community service, student advising and involvement, and supervisory responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctorate in Choral Music Education; ABD will be considered

3 years of K-12 teaching or evidence of equivalent educational experience

Expertise to teach and develop courses in Choral Music Education

Expertise to teach and direct Vocal Jazz Ensemble

Evidence of scholarship and achievement in the area of Choral Music Education

Evidence of achievement in directing a Vocal Jazz Ensemble
