Auditions for 2026 Program

The Chautauqua Opera Conservatory is designed to guide and empower young artists through training and vast performance opportunities in a wide array of repertoire with excellent faculty.

In 2026, the Chautauqua Opera Conservatory will enroll twenty-five students, all of whom will receive a full scholarship, covering the cost of tuition, room, and meals.

AUDITIONS:

Live auditions on October 17 and 19 at Opera America NYC.

Application with pre-screening videos is required to be invited to audition live at Opera America. Application with videos is due on September 15.

Applicants invited to audition live at Opera America will be notified no later than September 26. Those unable to travel to New York for a live audition will have an opportunity to appeal for a virtual audition.

SAI Competition (Rotates yearly between the three School of Music programs. Winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize and perform with the Music School Festival Orchestra in 2027.)
