This TYA favorite returns to the Chance for the fifth time. Bring the family and watch as Fancy Nancy and her friends Bree, Rhonda, Wanda, and Lionel get ready to perform in their very first show, “Deep Sea Dances.” Nancy is positive, that’s fancy for 100 percent sure, that she and Bree will be picked to be mermaids. When another girl wins the coveted role of the mermaid, Nancy is stuck playing a dreary, dull tree. Can Nancy bring fancy flair to her role, even though it isn’t the one she wanted?

General In-Person Auditions

?Prepare 16-32 bars of contemporary musical theater, preferably in the style of the show. (Think animated and high energy! Example: SpongeBob SquarePants musical)

*If you are not available to attend our general audition, we are accepting video submissions until March 11th at 11:59pm*

SEEKING:

We are specifically seeking talented actors to perform in the 55 minute long show as well as help facilitate the 45 minute long parties following most performances. We are also seeking swings/understudies to split or cover roles for any COVID related or other unforeseen circumstances. Everyone in the cast and production team is required to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 and any applicable booster shots to attend audition.

PERFORMANCES:

At Chance Theater, Anaheim, CA

May 27 - June 19, 2022

Friday 7pm; Saturday and Sunday 11a, 1pm and 5pm

Parties are scheduled Saturdays & Sundays at 2:30p and 6:30p and Fridays at 8:30p.

“Parties with Nancy and Friends” involve greeting and interacting with patrons as their characters while assisting with games, crafts, and playtime.

PAYMENT:

Compensation will be between $1,100-$1,500. Payment is calculated hourly. Exact amount will depend on hours called.

COVID-19 POLICIES:

The production will rehearse and be performed in-person, operating within all of the local, state, CDC, and OSHA health & safety guidelines. Everyone in the cast and production team is required to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 prior to beginning work on the project, and fill out daily health surveys. Performers won’t be wearing masks during the performance or party events. However, you will be at least six feet away from audiences during the performance. Our COVID-19 policies for audiences currently include proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test for patrons over the age of 12 and masks for all patrons.
