At the UdK Berlin, the following position is available in the Faculty of Music - Institute for Music Education - in the Bachelor and Master's programs Teaching Music at Elementary Schools and Teaching Music at Integrated Secondary and High Schools:


- Pay group 13 TV-L Berlin universities -

unlimited full-time employment

Teaching obligation: 22 LVS

Available: April 1, 2021

Field of activity:

- artistic individual lessons in the main and minor subject of classical singing in the teacher training courses

- Organization of lecture evenings in the university context

- Collaboration in academic self-administration, especially in the organization and further development of teacher training courses


- a completed artistic or artistic-pedagogical university degree (master's degree or diploma) in singing

- Proof of several years of solo activity in the opera or concert field or in a renowned vocal ensemble or chamber choir

- several years of teaching experience in a university or music school as well as an outstanding pedagogical talent in dealing with beginners (basics of singing) and advanced students is desired

- the ability to accompany in a supportive manner at the piano is expected
