Opera Naples Resident Artist Program

Resident Artists are emerging professionals who are pursuing a career in opera and are selected to work with Opera Naples during the peak season. Participants are paid a weekly stipend, a travel stipend, and housing. The Resident Artists perform principal roles in chamber operas at the Wang Opera Center, perform secondary roles in mainstage operas at Artis-Naples, perform a children’s opera for the In-School tour program, and perform in various community events. Opera Naples staff, supplemented by other area professional artists, provide coaching, instruction, and career advice.

In the 2021 program, there are 2 periods of time in which the selected singers will be in Naples:

February 1 - March 13* AND April 15 - May 15*. We are seeking the same 4 singers to be available for both time periods.
