Matthews Playhouse will be holding auditions for Prince of Egypt, October 19th from 4:00pm-7:00pm and October 20th from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Auditions held at Minti Cowork and Conference Center, 4301 Morris Park Dr, Mint Hill, NC 28227.
Audition Requirements
All auditionees will need to stay for the dance portion of the audition. Some may be asked to stay to learn additional choreography.
* Principle Roles: Please prepare 32 measures of a musical theatre song in the style of the show that demonstrates your vocal range as well as a one minute long monologue
* Ensemble Roles: Please prepare 32 measures of a musical theatre song in the style of the show that demonstrates your vocal range as well as a one minute long monologue
* Dancers: Be prepared to learn a section of folk, jazz, and modern dance choreography from the show. If you have any acrobatic skills, be prepared to demonstrate them. Please wear jazz shoes and clothing you can move in well.
Some actors may be asked to read from a portion of the script
