Virginia Musical Theatre

VMT is seeking actors and singers for its upcoming production of the musical, FOOTLOOSE: THE MUSICAL.

AUDITION DATES & TIMES:

March 8, 2025, 10am-4pm / Dance Auditions 4:15-6pm

March 9, 2025, 1-4pm / Dance auditions/callbacks 4:15-6pm

Note: All roles dance in this show, including the adults. Tumbling is a plus.

Each auditionee is asked to prepare two songs (approximately 32 bars each) in the style of the show (pop/rock). You may not be asked to sing both selections. You may sing selections from the show. An accompanist will be provided.

This is a heavy dance show and all auditionees will be asked to go through a dance audition, which is scheduled for each of the audition dates. Auditionees are asked to bring appropriate movement attire along with dance shoes or tennis shoes. Women are asked to bring dance heels.

The leading male role of Ren and Reverend Shaw has already been cast.
