Westminster Presbyterian Church Audition
Description
Westminster Presbyterian Church (PCUSA), Wilmington, Delaware, seeks a TENOR section leader/soloist for the 2021–2022 program year (Sept.-June). A full voice, leadership experience in church and/or community choirs, professional solo experience, reliability, and mature interpersonal skills are desired. Position is renewable annually.
Westminster’s superb 50-voice semi-professional choir, with a long history of musical excellence and European concert tours, will return in September. Rehearsals will be on Wednesdays, 7-9 p.m. The choir will sing for the traditional Sunday service at 9 a.m. (8 a.m. call) as well as additional services at Christmas and Holy Week.
Pay scale is $75 per call for any service or rehearsal up to two hours in duration. A section leader can earn approximately $6,000 per season.
