US Coast Guard Band

US Coast Guard Band is accepting applications for a Vocal Soloist: Baritone / Baritenor.

The United States Coast Guard Band recruits only the most highly skilled musicians, and the audition process is extremely competitive. Coast Guard Band auditions occur only in anticipation of projected vacancies. Openings are announced on the Band's website and notices are sent to college and university music departments. Auditions are held at the United States Coast Guard Academy in historic New London, Connecticut. All applicants must travel to New London, Connecticut at their own expense.

Application Instructions

• Submit a video recording of the listed repertoire along with a one-page resume to cgbauditions@gmail.com before the application deadline of August 4, 2025.

• Video Recordings may be sent in any accessible format (e.g., MP4, Dropbox, Google Drive, private YouTube link, etc.).

• Recordings of previous performances may be submitted, where applicable.

• Please include your last name in all file names.

• Highly qualified candidates will be invited to the live audition based on the submitted recordings.

• Applicants will receive a confirmation email upon receipt of materials.

• Invited candidates will be asked to provide sheet music for the accompanist. An accompanist will be provided at the live audition.
