Univ of Wisconsin-Eau Claire seeks Music and Theatre Arts: Instructor of Applied Voice (80%).

Applied Voice Instructor-Soprano or Mezzo Soprano preferred. 80% FTE Instructional Academic Staff Position in the Department of Music and Theatre Arts in the Lecturer title series beginning August 22, 2022. This is a one-year renewable appointment with salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree required; Doctorate preferred. Ability to teach both Classical and Musical Theatre repertoire required. The following will be considered assets: ability to teach Voice Pedagogy Course; evidence of successful teaching at the collegiate level; demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness.

DUTIES: Duties and responsibilities include teaching applied voice as assigned, which includes teaching an active studio class and recruiting prospective voice students. Depending upon qualification, teaching a Voice Pedagogy Course could be assigned. Other responsibilities could be assigned according to departmental need.
