United States Army Field Band

The Soldiers' Chorus announces the following vacancy:

Low Bass

JOB DESCRIPTION:

* Perform in the Soldiers’ Chorus of the United States Army Field Band

* Tour approximately 100 days per year in the U.S. and abroad

* Perform in various small chamber ensembles

* Contribute to innovative performances for broadcast audiences, live events, and educational outreach

* Learn and refine new skills as desired in multimedia production, marketing, music education, and others

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Professional performance level

* Proficiency in various musical styles and low C extension required

* Strong sight-reading skills

* Bachelor of Music degree or higher preferred

* Ability to meet Army height/weight standards

* Civilian applicants must be 17-34 years of age or up to 42 with a waiver

* U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
