Royal Conservatoire of Scotland

We are: seeking a Repetiteur Fellow to join our Opera Department on a one year placement. The Alexander Gibson Opera School at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland mounts three full opera productions and two sets of opera scenes each year across three terms.

You will be: expected to work as a repetiteur and coach in the Opera Department, coaching vocal students in preparation for these productions, playing for rehearsals and playing keyboard parts within the orchestra.

You should: have already completed a course of study or have already gained some experience in the industry. You should have good command of the basic operatic languages (Italian, French and German) along with a good command of English and be able to display proficient skills at the keyboard. Good sight-reading is also highly desirable.
