Description
The Department of Music invites applications for the position of Lecturer in Music, Voice. This is a nine-month, part-time, temporary faculty position to begin August 2022.
Responsibilities to include:
Teach individual lessons in undergraduate and graduate Voice
Participate in weekly Voice studio
Teach Class Voice, Vocal Pedagogy, or Diction as needed
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in vocal performance
Commitment to collegiality within the learning community
Preferred Qualifications:
ABD or Doctorate in vocal performance
Documented teaching experience and a record of student achievement
A record of performances as a Vocalist
Strong oral communication, written communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience teaching the musical theatre and CCM genres.
