Altarena Playhouse is holding auditions for LA CAGE AUX FOLLES (music by Jerry Herman, book by Harvey Fierstein), directed by Phil Lowery (he/him), musical direction by Armando Fox (he/él/il/lui), choreography by Leslie Waggoner (she/her).

Tech week: Mar 20 – 24

Performances: Mar 25 – May 1 (Fri/Sat/Sun, plus Thur, Apr 28)

WHERE: Altarena Playhouse, 1409 High Street, Alameda, CA

WHO: ALL ROLES ARE OPEN, and non-AEA. Stipend provided.

Performers of all races, ethnicities, genders and body types are encouraged. Please include your pronouns when you sign up.

PREPARE: About one minute of music of your choice, that shows you off well. (No need to sing from the show. Music by Jerry Herman is encouraged. Please avoid Jason Robert Brown.) A piano accompanist will be provided.

BRING: A headshot and resume

Clothes and shoes you can move in (auditions will include movement/dance)
