Casentino Voice

Now in its 15th season, the renowned American soprano Valerie Girard will give masterclasses together with James Gray and Marioara Trifan in the medieval town of Stia in the Casentino Valley in Tuscany. Master classes, daily private voice lessons and individual coaching will be offered in vocal technique and vocal repertoire. The program culminates in an open-air festival concert for all active-participants.

Recent students of Casentino Voice have come from Belgium, Germany, Mexico, Poland, the UK and USA and are performing in opera theaters and concert halls, including the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Opéra La Monnaie / De Munt in Brussels, the Baltic Opera House Gdansk, the Salzburg and Bregenz festivals, the Musikverein in Vienna, the Residenztheater in Munich and the Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini, Italy.

The tuition of €1200 includes a professionally produced video recording for all active participants of their concert perfomance for personal and promotional use.

There is a non-refundable application fee of €50.

Auditors (non-active participants) are also welcome (€350).
