Audition repertoire:

- A song from West Side Story or a stylistically related musical title (in German)

NOTE: please prepare and bring a playback via Bluetooth (there will be no pianist present)

- A short monologue (approx. 1-2 minutes)

- choreography part of the audition is mandatory for all

NOTE: Please bring suitable dance attire. Also bring enough drinks for your own consumption, as the rehearsal room can be very hot in summer.

Casting:

CHINO: calm, controlled character; approx. 18-30 years

ACTION, A-RAB, BABY JOHN, BIG DEAL, DIESEL: distinctive characters with dancing and singing elements

PEPE, INDIO, LUÍS, JUAN: strong dancers with individual role profiles

VELMA, GRAZIELLA: demanding acting and dancing

CONSUELO, TERESITA, FRANCISCA, ESTELLA: strong dance and ensemble singing

Requirements:

- Team players with strong stage presence

- Outstanding vocal, dance, and acting skills

- Some roles require excellent dance skills

- Age range from youth to young adult for the main roles

- Versatile

- Residence in North Rhine-Westphalia is an advantage
