It’s impossible to be chill about Be More Chill. This Tony-nominated (Best Original Score, 2019) new musical makes its Hawaii debut this fall at M?noa Valley Theatre! With a score full of addictive earworms and a universal, sci-fi-tinged story about the competing voices in all of our heads, this "fantastically funny” (The Guardian) musical "fizzes with feel-good energy” (The Stage). It's just your atypical high school love story - a guy (he wants to fit in), a girl (she wants to be noticed), and the supercomputer inside the guy's head that tells him what to do (it wants to take over the world!).

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:

Please prepare one minute (or 32 measures) from a song in the style of the show. No transpositions, no a capella. Singing from the show is encouraged but not necessary.

Please Note: Be More Chill explores sensitive themes such as teenage suicide, depression, underage drinking, sex, and drug use. However, the production is overall an uplifting and empowering piece for actors & audiences.
