When the world stood still on 9/11, an unexpected resilience unfolded in a remote Canadian town. Come From Away, a powerful and uplifting musical based on true events, tells the story of 38 diverted flights carrying nearly 7,000 passengers who found themselves stranded in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland. Undaunted by logistics and language barriers, the people of Gander welcomed the stranded travelers into their community with open arms, recognizing that we’re all part of a global family.

Rehearsals run:

Monday – Saturday: Up to eight hours daily (with a break) between the hours of 10:00AM and 8:00PM

Additional hours will be added for Technical Rehearsals beginning April 17.

This audition is for local Actors. Out of town actors may submit to Bob Cline for New York auditions held at the beginning of January 2026.

Audition Information

Actors must audition in-person, Friday, December 12, 2025.

1:00-2:00 PM (AEA Members ONLY)

2:00-5:00 PM (Non-Union & AEA Members)

Call backs are by invitation only and will be held in-person, Saturday, December 13. Time TBA

To audition, please prepare 32 bars from a contemporary musical theatre story song that shows vocal range and personality. An accompanist will be provided. Bring your own music as well as a headshot & resume. If you are invited to the callbacks, you will be asked to sing and/or read from the show. Sides will be provided at that time.
