The School of Arts & Humanities at Mount St. Joseph University invites applications for a full-time Director of Choral Activities. The position is a 12 month, benefit-eligible position in our Department of Music, and will begin immediately.

We seek candidates with a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will coordinate with our Office of Admission to actively recruit student singers from area high schools and the campus community, and will direct our choirs for performances on and off campus. Communication and planning capabilities are key, particularly related to the areas of recruitment, retention, facility usage, department events, and University events. Must have strong vocal and choral pedagogical skills, as well as keyboard proficiency. This position includes a significant outreach to the greater community, campus, and prospective students. Significant collaboration with Campus Ministry and Director of Theatre Arts is expected. Other duties as assigned. The candidate must have a demonstrated ability and commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion.
