USF is accepting applications for an Assistant Director, Vocal Ensembles.

DUTIES:

The 1-year visiting, Assistant Director of Vocal Ensembles (ADVE), in the School of Music at USF, will assist the Director of Vocal Ensembles in the operation of the entire vocal ensemble program. This person will be expected to direct two choirs each semester, and they will teach courses in vocal music education. The ADVE will also actively recruit and be a visible presence in the high school choral community.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in music or professional experience equivalent.

Extensive vocal ensemble directing experience

Significant interest and experience working with Latin/Ibero-American musics

Experience teaching vocal music education methods and techniques.
