Grand Theatre

Grand Theatre will be holding auditions for Head Over Heels, Oct 31 and Nov 1 at 7 pm.

Please come dressed in an outfit you can wear for both vocal and dance auditions. We will not allow auditionees to change clothes throughout the audition process.

Vocal Audition: Please prepare a song, in the style of the show and that also shows off your vocal range. You are allowed to sing from the show if you would like to, but it is not a requirement. We may cut you off at some point during your vocal audition. Piano accompaniment will be provided. If you are using a track, please be sure that it is a Karaoke or instrumental track (No background vocals). We will provide a speaker to plug your phone or iPod into. If your phone requires special input outside of an aux port or iPhone jack, please bring the aux adaptor to plug it in.

Dance: You will be required to participate in a dance audition after your vocal audition, if asked to stay. You will be taught a brief dance number. Please wear comfortable clothes that you are able to move well in.

Please be honest about your conflicts and what parts you will accept and if not cast in those parts if you will accept another role. We reserve the right to cut any cast member that has not been honest with us regarding their conflicts.

You must be able to attend all performances in order to be cast. No one will be cast if they are unable to attend a performance.

Please complete and submit audition form prior to the audition (available on our website).

If you have not been fully vaccinated for COVID-19, we request that you wear a mask throughout the audition process, including callbacks. You will have the option to remove your mask briefly when you're alone on stage for your singing audition, but must put the mask back on before leaving the stage.
