The Ripieno Choir

Tenor, baritone or bass.

What we offer:

- Annual stipend of £1,200

- Opportunities for solos in main concerts (dependent on repertoire)

- Opportunities for musical leadership and team development

- Free music hire for the year

Responsibilities:

- Attendance at weekly Sunday rehearsals between 19:45-21:45 during term time (absences may be permitted with prior dispensation given by the music director)

- Mandatory attendance at this season’s concerts.

- Be an active member of the choir, engaging with and supporting other singers in your part

- Active participation in other musical and social events in the choir’s calendar e.g. carol singing and “away days”

- Support the choir marketing team with social media and ad hoc marketing initiatives.

Audition repertoire:

- an unaccompanied solo of free choice from repertoire that might fit in a Ripieno concert (for example a folk song)

- sight singing

- there will also be an opportunity for you to discuss your singing ambitions and ask questions about the scholarship
