The Lionel Hampton School of Music is now accepting applications for an Instructor of Voice, a full-time, non-tenure track appointment beginning August 2022. Responsibilities include: teaching undergraduate and graduate studio voice; assisting with opera workshop; teaching diction courses; teaching other voice related courses to be determined by the applicant’s qualifications and departmental needs; actively recruiting and retaining students; participating in outreach including clinics and master classes in regional schools; participating in committees; and advising.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in music with significant professional experience

Record of success as a voice teacher at the collegiate level

Evidence of performance ability at a professional level
