Contract: temporary, per project

Requirements:

• a completed singing degree or comparable qualification

• Experience as a choir/ensemble member and as a soloist

• confident sight-singing

• a stylistically confident handling of repertoire from early music to contemporary works

• accent-free command of German when singing

• Good written and spoken German

• English skills

Audition repertoire:

Compulsory pieces:

1.) J.S.Bach: an aria (if available with recitative) from the Christmas Oratorio or the St. John Passion or the St. Matthew Passion

2.) R. Strauss “ Allerseelen” (D flat major) or H. Wolf “ Verborgenheit” (C major) or J. Brahms “Sapphische Ode” (D major)

Please bring the sheet music (copies) in duplicate.

Choral excerpts:

1.) Schönberg: Friede auf Erden, bars 31-88

2.) Mozart: Kyrie (complete) (Requiem)

- Sight-singing
