The Theater und Orchester GmbH is a cultural institution of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The multi-genre theater in southeastern Mecklenburg offers its audience opera, operetta, musical, concerts, drama and comedy, chamber plays as well as small programs, children's plays and puppet shows. The main venues are the Landestheater Neustrelitz (397 seats), the Schauspielhaus Neubrandenburg (200 seats), the Konzertkirche Neubrandenburg (800 seats) and, during the festivals, the Schlossgarten Neustrelitz (1,350 seats).

The Neustrelitz State Theater is home to the artistic directorate, workshops and administration.

What is special about the Neustrelitz Opera Chorus throughout Germany is its enormous versatility, which is also repeatedly confirmed by guest directors. Musical precision, joy of playing and dancing make it an important part of the Neustrelitz music theater ensemble.

You participate musically and scenically in the theater's productions as well as in our concerts. You inspire with great joy in singing and playing and you enjoy movement, which will serve you well in the dance interludes of our choir for the musical theater productions.

Your profile:

You have a degree in singing or a comparable qualification. You already have experience as a choir/ensemble member. You have an accent-free command of the German language. You have performing skills and enjoy dancing and acting.

The employment relationship is based on the NV Bühne, SR Chor, with a performance-based salary in fee class 2b as well as a pension plan through the Bayerische Versorgungskammer through additional pension benefits.

Additional Notes:

Auditions are expected to take place at the end of August.

Since our choir will also be choreographing, we would appreciate a performance that demonstrates the applicant's love of movement.
