KlassikFestival Kirchstetten

For the production Gioachino Rossini, "La Cenerentola" of the KlassikFestival Kirchstetten in summer 2022 the following roles are cast:

Conductor: Hooman Khalatbari

Orchestra: The Virtuosi Brunenses Orchestra

DON RAMIRO (Tenor with high C and coloratura)

Age 20-35

We are looking for a singer with excellent comedy talent and timing skills. Courage to transform and natural cheerfulness.

Please prepare the following passages in Italian:

Aria: Si, ritrovarla io giuro, Amor mi muove

Other requirements:

Depending on the requirements of the Austrian government, Corona measures must be met in the summer of 2022. We ask for your understanding.

Car an advantage

Work permit for the EU or Austria

Premiere: August 3, 2022

Performances: August 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 2022 each at 8:00 p.m.

Additional performance possible.

Venue: Kirchstetten Castle, Maulpertsch Hall (approx. 160 seats)

Start of rehearsals: from July 1, 2022 (rehearsals are half the time in

Vienna and the other half on site in Kirchstetten).

Unconditional attendance during the entire rehearsal period.

To be prepared as a video of the indicated passage in the respective part:

Recording with the cell phone Ideally, the whole body is to be seen in the video (but it does not have to be).

Video is welcome to be uploaded to a platform (YouTube, wetransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc).

If you are shortlisted, we would be happy (depending on circumstances) to meet you in a virtual meeting.

The festival does not cover any expenses incurred for the audition. However, you are welcome to have a confirmation of this.
