Auditions for the 2024-2025 Season

Opera Naples is calling local adults and youth (ages 7-17) to participate in our exciting 2024-25 season!

Choristers may be invited to perform in select productions or for the entire season. Adult choristers may audition for one or multiple productions. No experience in opera is required for volunteer positions. Paid chorister positions and roles are available for adults with professional training and experience. Participating university music students receive a stipend.

March 6 and 8 at the Opera Naples Festival Under the Stars, Cambier Park. Performed in Italian, fully staged with orchestra

Available roles: Adult chorus, Youth chorus

The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

February 28 and March 2 at the Opera Naples Festival Under the Stars, Cambier Park. Performed in German, chorus will perform concert style with scores

Available roles: Adult chorus, 3 spirits (youth)

The Mikado by W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan

March 7 and 9 at the Opera Naples Festival Under the Stars, Cambier Park. Performed in English, fully staged

Available roles: Adult chorus, Pitti-Sing (adult mezzo) Peep-Bo (adult soprano or mezzo), Pish-Tush (adult baritone)

Rehearsals

Adult chorus rehearsals: Beginning in October 2024

Monday evenings from 7-9:30pm | Saturdays from 10am-12:30pm

Youth chorus rehearsals: Beginning in January 2025

Tuesdays from 5-6pm
